Powerful. Precise. Proven.
Propagators, or young plant growers face seasonal light limitations, tight margins, and the need for consistent year-round quality, Heliospectra provides innovative, research-backed LED lighting solutions that help you take control—improving yields, plant health, and operational flexibility.
Why LED lighting for
Propagation?
Young plants require precise environmental control to the right number of heads, a strong root system, strong and compact growth and the right height at delivery date. With Heliospectra’s tunable LEDs and smart control systems, you can:
Improve rooting, create equally strong heads, control stem thickness and elongation.
Stimulate the right plant development in each growth phase to meet increasing customer expectations for plant quality and resilience.
Speed up cycles, even in low-light seasons
Supplemental light supports steady production and shorter growth times year-round — without sacrificing crop quality and uniformity.
Tailor growth with spectrum and intensity
Adjust far-red, blue, and other key wavelengths to influence biomass, stretch, and structure based on your varieties and customer demands.
Improve resilience and reduce waste
End-of-production light strategies help strengthen plants for transport, improve resilience, prepare for greenhouse conditions at the customer and minimize losses.
The science behind the light
Backed by nearly two decades of plant research, Heliospectra’s lighting solutions combine proven spectral strategies with advanced control technologies to deliver measurable results in young plants cultivation:

Broad spectrum portfolio for tailored recipes
From fixed to fully tunable spectra, our solutions let you match light quality to crop type, growth stage, or production target.

Far-red and green spectrum options
Manipulate morphology and speed up development using adjustable far-red or green wavelengths — ideal for crop steering.

Reliable, Data-Driven Light Control
High light uniformity and efficient photon output ensure consistent DLI coverage year-round, while smart automation adapts lighting to crop needs, time of day, and environmental changes. This combination delivers the right intensity and duration with real-time precision, keeping every cycle optimized and under control.

Variable grow zones
The HelioCORE software allows the grower to set grow zones in parts of the greenhouse, adjusted to the area used for each customer order. Limiting the space that is lit without plants. When the plants are spaced out in another area in the greenhouse, the data from the first growth phase (in other area) can move with the plants to the new area, keeping track of the energy consumption and lighting strategy per order.
