Far-Red Dynamics: Impact on Basil and Lettuce Growth Patterns
As part of helioACADEMY, Heliospectra is sponsoring student projects at MidSweden University with LED lights. Students Ayomiposi Akinwande and Mikhail Sandzheiv have during their practical course used our flexible ELIXIA LED light to investigate how far-red can be used dynamically in a sole-source set-up.
Ayomiposi Akinwande and Mikhail Sandsheiv studied the effect on basil and lettuce by using only far-red for some part of the day compared to using it continuously.
